Yayyy! We absolutely love introducing new people to the world of aerial acrobatics, this is our passion and our specialty.
Our beginner pathway is designed to help you build confidence, strength, and understanding in a safe, supportive environment. New aerial students begin with three Intro to Aerial Acrobatics classes, where you'll learn some important fundamentals of aerial movement, safety, body awareness, and become familiar with our equipment. And make some new aerial friends!
From there, you'll participate in at least three Aerial Foundations classes. This is a fun and challenging all levels aerial conditioning class. We are all always conditioning to develop and maintain our aerial strength coordination and basic skills while exploring a variety of apparatuses.
Once you've completed the beginner pathway of classes, you'll be ready to join our Level 1/2 specific classes, such as silks, trapeze, sling, or lyra (hoop).
Everyone's journey is unique, and there's no rush. Some students move through the progression quickly, while others really enjoy spending extra time building a strong foundation—and both are wonderful. Our instructors are here to support and encourage you every step of the way.
If you're aerial curious, a little nervous, or excited to try something new, know that you're in good company.

Both classes use aerial apparatuses suspended from the ceiling, but they have very different intentions—and both are incredibly fun!
Aerial yoga combines traditional yoga with the support of a soft aerial hammock. Most of the class takes place with at least one hand or foot connected to the floor, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of yoga while using the hammock for balance, support, gentle inversions, stretching, and relaxation. It's a wonderful way to build strength, improve mobility, and experience movement in a playful, supportive environment.
Aerial acrobatics is a movement art that teaches skills on apparatuses such as silks, trapeze, sling, and lyra (hoop). In these classes, we gradually build the strength, knowledge, technique, and confidence to move toward having no points of contact with the ground, learning to climb, wrap, hang, spin, and create beautiful shapes in the air.
Whether you're looking for mindful movement, a new challenge, or simply a joyful way to play, we're here to help you feel safe, supported, and inspired.

Yes, please! We kindly ask that all students register and pay for class before arriving.
Pre-registration helps us prepare for class, ensures you have a reserved spot, and allows our instructors to focus on welcoming and supporting everyone who walks through the door. As a small, locally owned business, your help with registering in advance truly means a great deal to us.
If you run into any technical difficulties, don't worry! Simply let us know when you arrive, and we'll be happy to sort out your registration before class begins.
Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly—we can't wait to see you at class!

If you have a yoga mat you love, by all means, please bring it! Many students enjoy practicing on their own mat because it feels familiar and comfortable.
If you don't have one, or simply prefer to travel light, no problem at all. We have clean, basic studio mats available for you to use at no additional charge.
Our goal is to make coming to class as easy and welcoming as possible, so don't let not having a mat keep you from joining us. Just come! We'll help you get everything you need for a wonderful practice.

We have 11 parking spaces conveniently located behind The Barn for students.
If our parking lot happens to be full, you'll find 5 spaces in front of the Barn and ample street parking nearby. We simply ask that everyone be mindful of our neighbors by avoiding parking in neighboring business parking lots, private driveways, or residential spaces.
Whenever possible, we also love seeing our community choose a greener way to arrive! If you live nearby, consider walking, riding your bike, or taking the bus to class. It's a wonderful way to begin your practice while helping care for our beautiful mountain community.
Thank you for helping us be thoughtful neighbors—we look forward to welcoming you to The Barn!

Life happens—we completely understand. If you're running a little late, we still welcome you to join us.
If you're arriving late to a yoga class, we simply ask that you enter quietly and respectfully so everyone can continue enjoying their practice without disruption.
If you're arriving more than 10 minutes late to an aerial class, your instructor will guide you through a special warm-up before you join the rest of the class. A proper warm-up is essential for building strength, preparing your body to move safely in the air, and helping prevent injury. Once you're warmed up, we'll help you ease into the flow of class.
Whenever possible, we encourage arriving a few minutes early so you have time to settle in, take a deep breath, and begin your practice feeling relaxed. But if you're running behind, don't stress—we're always happy to see you.
