Yoga, Meditation & Conscious Dance

Class Offerings

Morning Light Yoga

Begin your day purposefully with Morning Light Yoga. This practice skillfully integrates Yoga asana, pranayama, philosophy, and meditation; fostering a felt sense of presence in body and community.

Mindfulness Meditation

Our thoughts determine how we feel, how we react, and therefore how our life choices manifest. Our Mindfulness classes are rooted in the practice of observance and acceptance of self and circumstances. This class is a wonderful starting place for new meditators. We recognize Mindfulness as the foundation of all transformation.

Aerial Yoga

In this class you will practice yoga asana with the support of a silk aerial hammock. The hammock can assist the beginner in learning yoga and the advanced practitioner in cultivating expanded embodiment.

Vinyasa Yoga

In Vinyasa yoga, we synchronize movement with breath, dancing through an intentional sequence of postures to achieve a meditative state.

Heart Meditation

The Heart is the humanitarian, it yearns to connect, communicate, and collaborate. In Heart Meditation we explore the practices of forgiveness, loving kindness, compassion, and gratitude. These classes will support you to focus on the big picture, deepen your relationships, and dismantle unhelpful egoic patterns in the mind. You can expect tangible shifts in energy and perspective.

Yoga for Healing

In this class students will receive psychological and physiological healing through Yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation. Each class will center an anatomical focus and integrate myofascial release techniques into the practice. This is an all levels class that is great for the beginning practitioner.

Adaptive Yoga

We offer adaptive yoga to people with disabilities. Classes are intimate and space is protected. Those with caretakers are encouraged to practice as a partnership. Students will be invited to explore all dimensions of yoga in relationship to their disability.

Daoyin Flow

This class weaves together Qigong and Yin Yoga to offer an experience of vitality to all bodies. Movement and postures practiced will be gentle and fluid, rooted in the philosophy of Classical Chinese Medicine.

Contemplative Dance

Dance is a human right. A consensual agreement we make with our bodies which invites us to respond intuitively to other people and our environment. Sift is a contemplative improvisational dance offering developed by experienced dance artist, scholar, and educator Morgan Kulas. All bodies and abilities encouraged.

  • Having lived in the Colorado mountains for most of his life, John got his yoga feet wet like so many others – as a complement to other interests like skiing and running. Over the past 12 years, he has developed a deeper appreciation of yoga’s fundamental principle of breath connection, along with the self-discovery and growth that comes from a regular practice. Drawing from a number of influences, his style is eclectic, thoughtful, deliberate and relaxed, to ensure that the many benefits of yoga are accessible to all ability levels. With the right combination of alignment, breath, enthusiasm and laughter, expect to leave his classes with your body and mind more open and receptive to life. John has been teaching yoga for 12 years and has completed over 500 hours of teacher training.
